Organic Fruit and Vegetables

Friday, July 25th, 2008

There’s a big trend nowadays on  buying organic fruits and vegetables. I guess you have to have faith that the company isn’t just packaging regular produce and calling it organic. The benefits are obvious - no pesticides, heathy and better quality food, but the expense can be a bit prohibitive. It’s always good to source out a trusted supplier to make sure that you are comfortable with who you select.

Halloween Gifting in Toronto

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Every year, Toronto is the hub of our Halloween gift basket sales. Corporate orders for Halloween fly in.  There’s a real strong interest in sending gifts before the big Christmas holiday push.  This is an opportunity to get in front of the competition.  Remember how everyone is focused on the kids and the trick or treating.  A business can really take advantage of the lull in activity and have their friends, suppliers, customers or employees appreciate the thought of a Halloween gift basket in Toronto. It doesn’t have to be expensive, just memorable!

A gift basket like no other…

I was visiting an office the other day when I saw what I believe to be the biggest gift basket in the world.  Ok, maybe it wasn’t the biggest, but it was huge. I looked even too big for the 30 person office I was at.  Whoever sent that gift must have had alot to be thankful for.  I’m guessing that office made the person a ton of money because the basket would have cost a fortune.  Not that money should be the most important thing to consider.  Even a small understated basket can have a big impact if it’s themed right.  It’s not always the cost that is most important…but in this case, it definitely left an impression!
